Now that the government have said that we can reopen, we’re taking some time to make sure that everything is set up according to the guidelines, that we have the correct PPE and that our therapy room is cleaned and sanitised.

COVID-19 PROCEDURES
Please see below our updated procedures following the government guidelines to reopen.
TREATMENTS - All massages will be performed with the client facing down for now to limit the risks of infection.
PPE - Your massage therapist/reiki practitioner will wear a visor and mask at all times as instructed by the government. You must wear a mask for reiki treatments but as massage treatments will be face down, we will leave this up to you to decide if you wish to wear one.
TREATMENT TIME - We will be limiting treatments to 45 minutes to limit the exposure and to provide extra time for cleaning and ventilating.
TOILET - Please try to use a toilet before you arrive for your appointment. If you do need to use our toilet, please use the antibacterial soap and hand sanitiser provided.
CONSULTATION - Please fill in the consultation form sent to you and email back to hello@peckhamtherapies in advance of your treatment.
PAYMENT - We would ask you to make payment via bank transfer prior to your appointment to avoid the need for card machines.
ARRIVAL & EXIT - Please arrive alone and on time, there are no waiting facilities at our practice.
Please wear a mask on arrival and use the hand sanitiser provided before you press the doorbell.
REFRESHMENTS - Please bring your own water to drink after the treatment.
BELONGINGS - Please minimise the amount of personal belongings you bring with you where possible, we will provide a plastic tub with a lid for your clothes etc during your treatment, this will be sanitised between clients.
CLEANING & VENTILATION - All surfaces will be cleaned with an antibacterial spray/wipe between clients and as usual towels and linen will be washed at 60 degrees after use.
We will ventilate the room between clients and during the treatment where possible.
We will be taking temperatures (with non-contact thermometer) on arrival, if you are showing a temperature we will have to ask you to reschedule.
We will also be taking our own temperatures daily.
We would ask that you contact us if you feel unwell or show any COVID-19 symptoms within the week following your appointment.
